Elsie's Cottage is located about 45 miles north of the Twin Cities, close to North Branch, Minnesota. |

Is the Cottage just for scrapbooking? |

No! The cottage welcomes quilters, beaders, artists, scrappers, knitters, other crafters, business groups, seminars, religious groups or any other group looking for a getaway. The cottage's generous workroom can be configured to meet the needs of most any group. |

How much space is there for each person to work? |

Each person has their own 3’ X 5’ table, and an adjustable chair for their comfort. |

When is check-in/check-out? |

Weekend guests may check-in at 1:00 PM on Friday and check-out is 5 pm on Sunday. Please feel free to call if your group would prefer different check-in or check-out times - usually, there is some flexibility. |

There are six large bedrooms that will comfortably sleep a maximum of 14 people. Four bedrooms have 2 twin beds each. Two bedrooms have 3 twin beds each. There are no bunks. There are 4 bathrooms. |

What tools are available to use at Elsie's Cottage? |

There are many tools including a computer and printer, a Cricut, cutters, decorative scissors, Quick-cuts system, etc. If you are looking for something specific, please contact the management. |

I’d like to visit Elsie's Cottage, but I only know a few people who craft, what are my options? |

Although the majority of our bookings are to one person/coordinator who plans the visit with her friends or clients, there are a couple other options to ensure anyone who would like to visit Elsie's Cottage can.
First, you can post a message to our Message Board to see if anyone is looking for a few people to join them for the stay they have already booked.
Another option is to join a “Hosted Weekend”. These happen quarterly throughout the year, are hosted by the owner, and include food. Look for these dates on the Calendar and/or under the reservation icon. |
